



Taschen has long been well established as one of the greatest publisher of books on art, architecture, design and photography. The company's stated mission has always been to publish innovative, beautifully designed art books at popular prices, and the application to support this had to fit the company’s brand.
Through extensive research of the history of Taschen, the genre of books and its users I was able to concentrate on developing the existing web based model (website) in a style that could only enhance the experience given so far by Taschen to its users. I identified a list of features I wished to develop;
Then I began evaluating key technological features that should be included. I focussed on working on it existing features available so far (e.g. cart and recommendations) and then continued to develop features such as advanced scrolling to allow user to have a multiple of views at a touch of a button. Other features I developed /integrated include;
By developing an almost integrated guide and advertisement, I have allowed users to interact with Taschen products like never before. The model has room for continuous adaptation to available technological advancements when they become available. The one area for improvement during this project would have been greater time management to refresh my knowledge of Abode After Effects to create a more polished product.
